At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success is the positive involvement of parents." -Jane D. Hull
St. Thomas More School has a wonderful tradition of parental involvement.
Parental involvement in schools tends to lower behavioral problems and improve academic performance amongst the students. We strive to be productive daily to bring forth creative and thoughtful ideas for parents to interact with students through fundraising.
Our Parents’ Club is tremendously supportive each school year with events that include the Fall\Halloween Festival , Christmas Boutique, and the famous citywide Cioppino Crab Feed.
The St. Thomas More PC Board would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families. Working together we can truly make a difference. Every positive imprint we make on our children can go a long way. It you are able to give some time, day or evenings, please join us! Many hands make the job easier!
Attached is the activities/fundraisers for the 2019-20 school year.
Our Goal, this year, is to make sure everyone has fun while engaging and volunteering for the upcoming events.
We would love to have as many parents/guardians, family members involved as possible. We feel parent involvement is very important to the success of our children/students. All of our efforts are made easier by the consistent support that parents provide their children both at home and school.
Thanks for volunteering!
